Two-Year Associates Degree Program - Stockbridge School of Agriculture

Stockbridge Hall, UMass Amherst

The Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass Amherst offers a two-year associates degree program in turfgrass management with a focus on hands-on field applications of principles and practices, and also personnel and business management. This major prepares students for employment in the rapidly growing green industry with emphasis on developing and managing grass areas such as home lawns, parks, athletic fields and golf courses. Classwork is coupled with practical work experience, as each student is required to complete a summer of cooperative work training.
