Subject: Gray Leaf Spot

The first sample of gray leaf spot was diagnosed on 7/20/01 in the Rutgers Plant Diagnostic Laboratory from a ryegrass turf area at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Be alert for new leaf spot activity if you have perennial ryegrass. Diagnosis is unreliable in the field.
