Subject: Gray Leaf Spot

Gray leaf spot (Pyricularia grisea) of perennial ryegrass has been confirmed from golf course samples from Long Island, NY by the University of Rhode Island Turf Diagnostic Lab. If you have perennial ryegrass, and seedlings in particular, please be aware that this may arrive in our area at any time, especially if we get some rain.
